Great Packaging Matters
A better source for seeds
Simply put, we have the best packaging in the industry. Our foils are hermetically sealed to protect your seed and are fully resealable. And best yet, you don't have to worry about paper packages falling apart when wet or not lasting long enough to seed succession crops—our foils are waterproof.
carefully packaged
For finer, more delicate seed, we use glassine envelopes in addition to our resealable foils to help you avoid messy spills and hard-to-remove seed. You can view our seed packaging process here.
The label
Labels help you make crucial planting decisions, so we made ours as transparent as possible. You'll find the all-important germination rate and other useful information, like the number of seeds in a pound.

the importance of germination
Germination rates help you make crucial planting decisions and influence crop outcomes. Because of this, all of our seed packages have the germination rate and date on the label. Our company germination standards are higher than the Federal minimums and seed is tested on a regular basis.
you received your order. Now what?
Verify your order
Open the package immediately to verify the contents. Review the packing slip, the seed packages, and your original order to make sure everything matches. Contact us immediately if there are any discrepancies.
Find a storage spot.
Store your seeds in a secure location that is cool, dry, dark, and free of rodents. Nothing is more disheartening than getting ready to plant only to find your seeds have been eaten by a mouse or squirrel.
Moisture is enemy #1.
Once planting has taken place, be sure to reseal the seed package, keeping contents free of any soil or moisture. Store the seed in an airtight container in a cool, dry, and dark location. Excessive humidity and extreme temperatures will deteriorate germination.
